Ah the ol "Jason stole from us" bit again [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif[/img]
Talk to folks from Pound and one will say this and one will say the other. I really wonder what is the truth? I know I have not seen him rolling around in any Lexuses.

I guess I'm gonna be the one to say Jason left It with a zero balance...I'm sure while there should have been a lil left In It...I don't think It ever had enough to buy a Lexus...

I was under the assumption that all new coaches taking over a sport at Pound had to start with $0.00 in the account. At least that has been my experience.

What's the purpose of a coach having a positive balance in their account? Most I know work like dogs to come up with additional funding to support their programs. Had he left with alot of money in the account, it would be justifiable to ask, "Why didn't he buy better equipment for the kids? Why didn't he buy workout equipment? etc.

JIB let MP play after DB wouldn't let him in there program because he was dismissed for violating the Wise County Code of Conduct. JIB accepted him after a "questionable" relocation and custody change soley for the purpose of playing football, which is in violation of VHSL rules. Either JIB turned a blnd eye to the facts or are the most guilable school system in Va & Tn. Maybe Jimbo saw a chance to get what he thought was a good player and didn't care about the rest of the story? A player who had worked hard and earned a spot on the starting team for JIB was replaced by a player of questionable character. So who's the winner & loser? MP used JIB, hope JImbo and JIB are proud of there actions. Not a good example for the kids who work hard and follow the rules! Talent over character, the new JIB rule to win by.

I make no excuses the pressure to WIN is present here at the Youth level and the high school level. We all debate and talk, but none answer the question, VICTORY at what price?

No dude, spare us. If you wasn't mad that someone was being critical of JIB, if it was another school, you would be throwing them under the bus. At least admit your bias now and then, it makes you a lot more credible.
